The Capstone Project that I created is a lesson plan designed for 6th grade Beginning Spanish students. The purpose of the lesson is for students to learn the basics of verb conjugation. Using the concept map created with Inspiration, students are able to create a list of 40 conjugated verbs. These verbs include 20 commonly used verbs given by the teacher, and then 20 verbs that students find as a result of reading or personal interest. As a result of the classtime required to begin the assignment, students create a log of verbs that will be turned in at the end of the semester for grading. This log will help students to learn new verbs, and practice their conjugation skills. The list can be expanded once the students learn more about conjugation in the future.
