I created a WebQuest that requires my Spanish students to conduct individual research of a Latin American country in order to create a travel brochure for that country. As a group of three, students will then compile their research to create a tour of three Latin American countries that will last nine days and cost no more than $5000.
Upon completion of this WebQuest students will become experts on one
Latin American country, and family with those of the other students in
their group. They will research the climate, culture, daily life,
historic sites of interest, current events, and pricing of their chosen
country. Each group member is responsible for the brochure of
their country, but the group must work together to create an exciting
and informative brochure that includes an itinerary and prices for
their tour.
